Supercar Blondie, whose real name is Alex Hirschi, is the most famous influencer in the automotive sector and a successful entrepreneur. On April 2nd, she is launching SBX Cars, a new digital auction portal for premium vehicles.
As part of the growing company Alex Hirschi founded with her husband Nik Hirschi, CEO of SB Media Group, Supercar Blondie today launches global digital car auction platform SBX Cars ( sbxcars.com ).
100 million Euro portfolio at the start
SBX Cars‘ portfolio already includes vehicles worth more than 100 million euros. The digital auction house is launching with numerous collector’s items that have never been auctioned before and other phenomenal lots. For the first time, a Mercedes-AMG One and a prototype of the Hyperion XP-1 will be auctioned. In addition, one of three La Ferrari prototypes, Tyde’s first glass and fully electric hydrofoil yacht, which was designed by BMW, and other spectacular vehicles will be offered.
Hyper sports cars and special racing cars
In addition to the incredible range of hyper sports cars, another highlight at the start is the legendary collection of genuine John Player Special racing cars from the Lotus F1 team from the 1970s and 1980s. The collection includes Grand Prix cars driven by Nigel Mansell, Elio de Angelis, Ronnie Peterson and Johnny Dumfries, among others, as well as the vans and personal plane of F1 team boss Colin Chapman. The classic cars up for auction include a Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing, a Lamborghini Miura, a BMW 507, an Aston Martin DB5 and an Isdera 036i Spyder.
„Over the past few years, collectors and enthusiasts have regularly reached out to us asking where they can purchase the exceptional cars and other vehicles featured on Supercar Blondie. Until now, there has been no central community or platform connecting these buyers and sellers from around the world. With SBX Cars, we have solved this problem by creating a global auction site that offers our audience the opportunity to purchase these amazing dream cars from anywhere in the world,“ commented Alex Hirschi, co-founder of SBX Cars.
USP are exclusively and very best luxury goods
Unlike the major online auction sites, SBX Cars stands out by being dedicated exclusively to the very best luxury goods. Only the finest automobiles and other related vehicles are auctioned, while offering the global collector community the opportunity to avoid the high fees, logistical challenges and significant time commitment of traveling to in-person auctions.
At SBX Cars, consignors can expect their vehicle to be available for sale at a live auction worldwide within just a few weeks. Sellers and buyers also have access to auction specialists and account managers to guide them through the process.
Another benefit sellers have with SBX Cars is the opportunity to have customer vehicles featured on Supercar Blondie prior to auction, giving them access to the world’s largest audience of car collectors and enthusiasts. Supercar Blondie’s channels average two billion views per month, meaning vehicles are seen by an audience of millions before they are released for auction.
“ SBXCars provides an invaluable tool to the high-end collector community by creating an online network that allows our customers a far easier buying and selling process, while also providing access to one of the world’s largest audiences through Supercar Blondie,” explains SBX Cars Auction Director Lance Butler.
