Weltpremiere in Genf
Stuttgart. Die Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, ergänzt die zweite Generation der Baureihe 911 um ein weiteres Modell: Der neue 911 GT3 präsentiert sich nochmals stärker, schneller und präziser als sein Vorgänger. In die Entwicklung des sportlichsten Straßen-Elfers mit Saugmotor flossen dabei zahlreiche Erkenntnisse aus dem Motorsport ein. Deshalb beeindruckt der neue GT3 nicht nur auf der Straße, sondern auch auf der Rennstrecke. Seine Weltpremiere feiert der neue 911 GT3 am 3. März auf dem Genfer Automobilsalon. Der europaweite Verkauf beginnt im Mai.
Vor allem in seinen beiden Kerneigenschaften hat sich der 911 GT3 weiterentwickelt: Leistung und Fahrdynamik. 435 PS (320 kW) gibt der bewährte Sechszylinder-Saugmotor jetzt ab, ein Plus von 20 PS gegenüber dem Vorgängermodell. Im Wesentlichen ist dies das Resultat einer Hubraumerhöhung um 200 Kubikzentimeter auf 3,8 Liter sowie des verbesserten Gaswechsels: Nicht nur die Einlass-, sondern erstmals auch die Auslassnockenwellen sind jetzt nach dem VarioCam-System verstellbar. 911-Series model program expanded
Stuttgart. Dr.Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, Germany, will be sending the new 911 Turbo Cabriolet to the starting line on September 8.

The 20-year tradition within the 911 Series of the 911 Turbo with a classic soft top is continued with this open, top model. Firstly, the open 2+2 seater offers the driving performance of a high-performance sports car while still providing convertible driving pleasure. Secondly, compared to the competition the 911 Turbo Cabriolet is economical in its fuel consumption, thanks to its deliberate design, outstanding aerodynamics and advanced engine technology.
As with the 911 Turbo Coupé, the Cabriolet will also be powered by a 3.6 liter six-cylinder ‘boxer’ engine with biturbo turbocharging and Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG). Continue Reading »
