Porsche 911 GT3 RSR

Stuttgart. Kräftig überarbeitet geht der erfolgreiche Porsche 911 GT3 RSR in das neue Modelljahr. Der stärkste Rennwagen auf Basis des Porsche 911, der in der vergangenen Saison unter anderem die American Le Mans Series und die 24 Stunden am Nürburgring gewinnen konnte, geht in der Klasse GT2 bei internationalen Langstreckenrennen an den Start. Deutlichstes Erkennungszeichen des GT3 RSR ist die neu gestaltete Frontpartie mit großflächigen Entlüftungsöffnungen auf der Fronthaube. Doch auch unter der Leichtbau-Karosserie wurde der schnellste Elfer kräftig überarbeitet.

Bereits auf den ersten Blick fallen die Entlüftungsschlitze, die so genannten Louvers, in der Fronthaube ins Auge: Ein Hinweis auf die komplett erneuerte Luftführung der Kühler, die durch die Neuauslegung von Zu- und Abluft bei Verbau der optional erhältlichen Klimaanlage nötig wurde. Weltpremiere des Scirocco GT24 mit 325 PS

Wolfsburg. Volkswagen präsentiert heute im Rahmen des legendären GTI-Treffens am Wörthersee als Weltpremiere eine 239 kW (325 PS) starke Version des neuen Scirocco. Denn zwei Tage später wird eine Crew legendärer Fahrer mit der Sportversion des Scirocco beim 24-Stunden- Rennen auf dem Nürburgring starten. Damit steht der neue Scirocco zeit- gleich bei zwei Kultveranstaltungen für Automobilfans im Rampenlicht.

Der Mittelmotor-Sportwagen rangiert zwischen dem Boxster S und dem 911 Carrera.
