Das Concept Car Chrysler Nassau erkundet mit seiner Kombination aus Kultiviertheit, Funktionalität und Stil eine neue Darstellung der Marke Chrysler. Das viertürige, viersitzige Chrysler Nassau Luxus-Coupé beschreibt Alan Barrington, Principal Exterior Designer des Concept Cars als einen „ eher emotionalen und künstlerischen Ausdruck dessen, was einen Chrysler ausmacht.“ Obwohl sein Radstand immerhin 3,05 Meter misst, wirkt der Nassau optisch kompakter als ein vergleichbarer Chrysler 300C. „Die Silhouette betont traditionelle Karosserie-Proportionen, die an den klassischen englischen Shooting Brake erinnern“, sagt Barrington. „Diese Form ermöglicht eine Innenraumgröße im SUV-Format in einem wesentlich flacheren und straßentauglicheren Körper.“ Laut Barrington sind die Design-Vokabeln beim Nassau „flüssig und anspruchsvoll“. Der traditionsreiche Coworth Park Polo Club in Ascot wurde am 7. Juli wieder Schauplatz eines Sportereignisses der Extraklasse. Zum zweiten Mal führte Prinz William als Kapitän sein Team gegen die Mannschaft von Audi UK, dem englischen Importeur der AUDI AG, an, der hochkarätige Spieler der englischen Nationalmannschaft angehören. Wieder ging sein Team als Sieger aus dem Match hervor, das finale Ergebnis betrug 3 : 2,5. Continue Reading »

After the Canadian Grand Prix, the Formula One community was buzzing with two subjects which were both centered on Formula One rookie drivers. One of which is the win posted by rookie Lewis Hamilton who was driving for McLaren. The young British racing driver set another record for extending his streak of podium finishes in his first season to six while taking his maiden win.

The other issue being talked about on Formula One circles is the unfortunate fate of BMW Sauber�s rookie driver Robert Kubica. While the Polish driver started his tour of duty for BMW Sauber last year replacing Jacques Villeneuve, this year marks his first full season as a Formula One driver.

Der ADAC Truck-Grand-Prix auf dem Nürburgring ist mehr als ein Fest der Trucker und Country-Fans. Längst hat sich die Veranstaltung des ADAC Mittelrhein zum großen Familienfest am „Ríng“ gewandelt. Das wird auch bei der 22. Auflage so sein, die vom 6. bis 8.Juli 2007 stattfinden wird.
Auch prominente Motorsportler reizt es immer wieder, in einem der 1000-PS-starken Boliden Rennen zu fahren. In 2006 hatte Ex-Formel-1-Fahrer und Motorsportlegende Hans-Joachim “Strietzel” Stuck sein Glück versucht, beim letzten Saisonrennen in LeMans saß Jochen Mass hinter dem Steuer eines Renntrucks. Auch in 2007 haben Zuschauer die Möglichkeit, am Donnerstag des Veranstaltungswochenendes als Beifahrer eines Renntrucks eine Runde im Renntempo über den Nürburgring zu drehen. Die Tickets dieser Top-Kategorie sind jedoch bereits ausverkauft. Nun geht der Run auf die Kategorie T4plus im Eiltempo voran.
