For the first time in karting, engine, gearbox, brakes, chassis, tires, bodywork are brought together in a finely tuned system. With this new package ROTAX will redefine the standards regarding performance, safety and low maintenance.

The first time: You step into the kart, start the engine, drive out of pit lane on to the track, give a quick burst on the accelerator, a stab on the brakes, steer into the first corner … you realise : ROTAX RM1 has a limit – your limit.

The acceleration and response of the ROTAX 125 MAX DD2 engine is incredible. At 12.200 rpm it is time to shift gears. A red LED flash shows the optimal time to shift, the ESA (electronic shifting assistance) enables you to shift into 2nd gear in less than 0,06 sec. with full power.
Another burst on the throttle and the RM1 is storming towards the next corner. Now braking precisely, down-shifting, applying pressure to the brakes the excellent feedback gives you smooth controlled braking via the MAGURA 4 disk brake system. The well balanced weight distribution and the low point of gravity enables you to explore your limits.
Accelerating out of corners the RM1 keeps perfectly on line. A quick and easy gear change with the shifter paddle on the steering wheel and off to the next corner …
